Autograph Letter Signed, in the third person, “happy to have the honor or shewing to Mr Pepys and family a picture he is preparing for exhibition (if they should be at all interested in such matters) …” 1 page 7 x 4½ inches, tipped on to part of an old album page, in good condition. Victoria Road, Kensington, 3 April 1849. Thomas Uwins (1782-1857), painter. In 1847 he became keeper of the National Gallery.
