Manuscript Warrant, signed by five members of the Committee of Lords and Commons for the Admiralty and Cinque Ports, addressed to the Commissioners of His Majesty’s Navy, appointing “the Royalist frigatt (late under Command of Captaine Coxe) to be employed as a Pacquett boat” between Liverpool and Carrickfergus, “or such other place, in Ireland, as she shall be appointed to, by the Commission for Ireland”, ordering that the ship be fitted and furnished as necessary for that service. 1 page 11 x 8 inches, very fine, with the integral blank leaf, docketed. Westminster, 25 August 1646.
