Autograph Letter in the third person to Charles Wheatstone, explaining that he had been mistaken in the exchange rate for the Louis d’Or, and now things “that Prof Schwerd ought to have £6 for his apparatus”, happy to lend the Book “to any gentleman who takes the Apparatus or who wishes to read it. 2 pp., 7 x 4 inches, residue of mount at upper edge, in good condition.
