In French. 1 page 7 x 4 inches, traces of mounting, with the separated address leaf (small red wax seal). Discovered in an album of correspondence compiled by John Forbes Royle, the botanist and author. 87 Eaton Square, 20 July 1835. The uncommon autograph of Charles Robert Cockerell (1788-1863), architect, who travelled in the Levant and Italy (1810-1817).
