Autograph Letter, in the third person, to Mrs.Spencer, asking whether she can let her have ‘the large back room’ for herself and ‘a comfortable sleeping room’ for her maid on various nights on their journey to Farnham in Surrey. 2 pp. 7 x 4.5 inches, fine. If Mrs.Spencer is unable to oblige, then Miss Strickland hopes she can recommend ‘some quiet, clean respectable Hotel, or lodgings, in a good street or square’.
