A series of 11 Autograph Letter Signed, to J.Grove Palmer, about the latter’s submissions to Punch which Shepperson might illustrate, including some rejection letters, sending fees, suggesting subjects. 11 letters, each of one page, various sizes, in good condition. !8 Kensington Court Place, 1909-1912. Claude Allin Shepperson (1867 –1921), British artist, illustrator, and printmaker specializing mainly in social scenes and landscapes. Shepperson was not only a painter, a book and magazine illustrator, a cartoonist for Punch, but also a commercial artist, producing images for advertisements.
