Autograph Letter Signed, to Lodge Ellerton, Connaught Place, proposing him for the Society of Arts Committee which has been formed for the improvement of Music and for giving Grand Concerts at the New Albert Hall, South Kensington. 2 pp. 7 x 4 inches, fine. Lowndes Square, 24 December 1870. Sir John Rennie (1794-1874), civil engineer, second son of John Rennie (1761-1821). Their most important commission, London Bridge, was opened in 1831.
