Uncommon. William Frederick Lake Price (1810–1896), English watercolourist and an innovator in mid-nineteenth-century photography. He illustrated Richard Ford’s Tauromachia, or the Bull-Fights of Spain, illustrated by Twenty-Six Plates, representing the most remarkable Incidents and Scenes in the Arenas of Madrid, Seville, and Cadiz (1852). He was the author of A Manual of Photographic Manipulation, treating the Practice of the Art, and its Various Applications to Nature (1858).
