Warrant Signed ‘George R.’ at head, “that this Establishment of Our Forces in the Island of Minorca and Garrison of Gibraltar” is deemed to commence on 25 December 1734, and no new charges are to be added to it without prior communication with the Treasury. Countersigned by three Lords of the Treasury: George Dodington, George Oxenden and William Clayton. 1 page 18 x 11 inches, in sound condition, light foxing spots, one old repair and tape on verso. Given at Our Court at St James’s, 15 May 1735, King George II (reigned 1727-1760).
