Autograph Letter Signed at the age of 12, “Good Luck, your’s sincerely Edward”, to the Sub Dean of the Chapel Royal at St James’s Palace, congratulating him on the success of his book. 2 pp. illustrated, 5 x 4 inches. With the original autograph envelope, signed ‘E’ lower left, roughly opened, remains of mount on verso, postmarked Sandringham. Sandringham, 9 December 1906. King Edward VIII as Prrnce of Wales. “… I think it is very nice to look at, but you ought to have had a picture of yourself on the outside. Do come down here again. At anyrate we hope to see you in February.”
