Vict Otter at Tours, while engaged with preparations for the journey to Rome “& the winding up of much business”), discussing Mr. Bruère’s manuscript, looking forward to hearing from her at the College Anglais in Rome. 3 pp. 8 x 5 inches, folds, address panel (small hole at seal opening), minor blemishes, in good condition. In 1840, he was consecrated bishop, and was sent to England as coadjutor to Bishop Thomas Walsh, vicar-apostolic of the Central district, and was also appointed president of Oscott College near Birmingham.
