Little Campden House, Campden Hill, 12 June 1872. Alfred Sydney Wigan (1814–1878), actor-manager who took part in the first Royal Command Performance before Queen Victoria on 28 December 1848. “… our stage career ends on the 6th July ..at Drury Lane theatre, under the auspices of the Prince and Princess of Wales.”
