Autograph Letter, in the third person, to Miss Peckover, sending “the concluding volume of his Tasso” and asking her to send her subscription to his agent. 1 page 9 x 7 inches, in good condition, small blank piece torn from upper left corner. 13 St James’s Square, 30 November 1825. Jeremiah Holmes Wiffen (1792–1836) poet and writer, known as translator of Tasso. With James Baldwin Brown the elder and Thomas Raffles, Wiffen published Poems by Three Friends (1813); the joint authorship was acknowledged in the second edition (1815).
