Charles Pelham Villiers (1802 – 1898), Leader of the Corn Law movement, lawyer and politician from the Villiers family who sat in the House of Commons from 1835 to 1898, making him the longest-serving Member of Parliament. Pelham Villiers also holds the distinction of the oldest candidate to win a parliamentary seat, at the age of 93.
