Autograph Letter Signed, to T.P.Cooke, asking for “some assistance in a little picture I am painting from a tale by Crabbe”, making arrangements for a meeting. 2 pp. 7 x 4½ inches, some light dust soiling, generally good. Widdington, 29 June 1842. Thomas Uwins (1782-1857), painter. In 1847 he became keeper of the National Gallery.
