Description

Autograph Letter Signed, to Richard Jenney in Deptford, announcing the death of his son, Doctor Jenney, in Trinidad, the circumstances of his death, his effects and property, etc. 3 pp. 12 x 8 inches, in good condition, address panel (privately carried). Trinidad, 12 August 1817. Henry Fuller owned several plantations in Trinidad. He became Attorney General. “I am sorry to say that I believe his loss is to be attributed to an over zealous wish of Performing the duties of his Profession in having got wet several times during one or two days previous to his sickness, without taking any precaution of changing his cloaths, and when he was obliged to take to his bed being imprudent and persisting in not calling in medical aid until it was too late.”
