Autograph Letter Signed, to F.P.Stevenson, acknowledging his letter, but “Until the pedestal & statue are erected on the site any description of the work would be premature”. 1 page 7 x 4 inches, in good condition, tipped on to part of an old album page. Melbury Road, 7 July 1899. Sir William Hamo Thornycroft RA (1850 – 1925), English sculptor, responsible for some of London’s best-known statues.
