Cadoxton Lodge, Neath, 10 August 1887. Dorothy Tennant, Lady Stanley (1855 – 1926), painter. She was married to explorer Sir Henry Morton Stanley. “Thank you for all the kind things you say about my work. I really think I must try photography so as to seize momentary action.”
