Autograph Letter Signed, to Mrs. Waymouth, sending etchings by Queen Victoria, explaining that his duties make it difficult for him to dine out over the next four or five days. 4 pp. 7 x 4½ inches, in good condition, two small pieces of paper adhering to edge where formerly mounted. 5 June 1846. Uncommon. Christian Friedrich Freiherr von Stockmar (1787 – 1863), Anglo-Belgian statesman, unofficial adviser to Victoria and Albert. “Her Majesty – who is going on very well – sends You with her kindest regards, the accompanying etchings done by herself.”
