Autograph Letter Signed, to Mr.Hogarth, suggesting the publication of a series of drawings relating to Bristol’s history. 2 pp. 7 x 4½ inches, in good condition, one small tear, remains of guard. Bristol, 13 August 1853. James Stephanoff (1788-1874), painter in watercolours, executed some of the drawings for Pyne’s Royal Residences and Nayler’s Coronation of George IV. He was one of the founders of the Sketching Society.
