Autograph List of eight sets of portraits submitted for exhibition “by A.Robertson, Miniature Painter to His Royal Highness The Duke of Sussex”. 2 pp. 9 x 7 inches, tipped on to part of an old album leaf. 19 Berners Street, undated. Andrew Robertson (1777–1845), Scottish miniaturist painter. Robertson created a new style of miniature portrait that became dominant by the middle of the nineteenth century; at least four examples are held in the Victoria and Albert Museum.
