Autograph Letter Signed ‘Charles Richet’, to “Cher ami”, about an article to be published, thanking his correspondent for all that he does, referring also to his old teacher M.Verneuil. A good one page example 7 x 5 inches, light creasing, in fine condition. With a separate reproduction photograph of Richet. 15 Rue de l’Universite, 1 March 1901. Professor Charles Robert Richet (1850 – 1935), French physiologist at the Collège de France known for his pioneering work in immunology. In 1913, he won the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine “in recognition of his work on anaphylaxis”. Richet devoted many years to the study of paranormal and spiritualist phenomena, coining the term “ectoplasm”.
