Four Autograph Letters Signed [to military agents], discussing army appointments, financial matters, promotions, etc. 4 pp. 9 x 7½ inches, in good condition. Kingston, Lewes, Lower Barracks; 1803-1808. General Sir William Augustus Pitt (c. 1728 – 1809) served in the Seven Years War, and was severely wounded and taken prisoner at the Battle of Kloster Kampen in 1760.
