Gibson, Patent Axle Makers, London, being a trade order “for my Carriage Establishment in this place”, signed by Robert Hood, incorporating small diagrams of the axles. 3 pp. 11 x 9 inches, some light waterstaining, otherwise good. Marked ‘per Overland Mail’, no address leaf. Manila, 3 August 1848. Very detailed specifications for a large order (£665) of axles and axle parts of various dimensions.
