Original Charter confirming the sale by Nicholas Yelverton and John Hay of Beeston near Mileham of various named tenements, pastures, meadows, etc. to Thomas Wyskard of Little Fransham and Thomas Large senior of Beeston, with the names of witnesses. Vellum 4 x 13 inches, in good clean condition, with two red wax seals, that of John Heye broken and the other “by me the aforesaid Nicholas Yelverton”. In Latin, with a complete typed English translation (350 words). Beeston, 3 October 1513. Beeston is a village in the county of Norfolk, in the civil parish of Beeston with Bittering, west of East Dereham and south of Fakenham. It may also be known as Beeston All Saints or Beeston-next-Mileham to distinguish it from the three other villages in Norfolk named Beeston.
