W,J.Trauenholz in Nuremberg, supplying a large quantity of engravings following their order, stating his terms, and hoping his correspondents will approve of his choices. In French. 2 pp. 9 x 7 inches, in good condition, with the address leaf. Florence, 14 April 1802. Raphael Morghen (1758-1833), the famous neo-classic line-engraver, pupil of Volpato in Rome. Morghen married Volpato’s daughter. Moved to Florence in 1793 where he was appointed professor at engraving at the Academy.
