Autograph Letter Signed, to Joseph Hill, Wargrave, regarding his letter concerning doubts “by Mr Hargrave respecting the Security offer’d by the Duke of Portland for 12000£”, and not wishing to be drawin into any litigation, hoping to see Mr. and Mrs. Hill although Milman’s current work confines him to London, preventing an “agreeable excursion” to Berkshire. 2 pp. 9 x 7 inches, minor blemishes, integral address leaf.
