Autograph Letter Signed, to Edward Walford, sending a few recollections for publication, stating that ‘I have put house in lieu of cottage, as at the time alluded to my Father occupied a capital Farm House’. 2 pp. 7 x 4.5 inches, fine. 42 Harewood Square, 17 May 1861. John Graham Lough (1806-76), sculptor, who received the commission to execute the lions at the base of Nelson’s Column. B.R.Haydon assisted him with his first exhibition in 1826.
