William Neale Lockington (1840-1902), English zoologist. Lockington was the curator of the California Academy of Sciences museum in San Francisco, California from 1875 to 1881. Serolis Carinata was his discovery. “I believe the short description of serolis carinata was published in 1876, at a time when I was residing in California and intending to say there.”
