Autograph Letter Signed ‘Le M[arecha]l De Lameth, ancien Maréchal De Camps de 1791’, to Monsieur Boulanger at Cambray, recommending an acquaintance whose father had served in the American War. In French. 1 January 1823. Théodore Lameth (1756-1854) served in the American war (1779-80), where he was wounded. He sat in the Legislative Assembly as deputy from the department of Jura, and became maréchal-de-camp.
