Autograph Wrapper, signed ‘E.Kean’ lower left, addressed to James Newman, Keeper of the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. Overall 7 x 9 inches, remains of red wax seal, torn at seal opening, in good clean condition, light creases. Postmarked Cheltenham, 30 July 1825. Edmund Kean (1787 –1833), the celebrated Shakespearean actor.
