Two Autograph Letters Signed, to Mr. Mackmurdo, about not attending a performance of Bernard Shaw’s play You Never Can Tell, on 19 November “(which I am shocked to find is a Sunday”), and about not joining the Stage Society which is responsible for the production. 2 letters, 4 pp. 7 x 4 inches, minor blemishes only. 1 Staple Inn, 10 & 11 November 1899.
