Autograph Letter Signed, to Professor Kidd in Aberdeen, sending a Committee resolution, and regretting the delay of recent correspondence. 1 page 9 x 7½ inches, minor defects only. Royal Asiatic Society’s House, Grafton Street, London, 17 July 1827. William Huttmann, sinologist, a contributor to the Literary Gazette, was secretary to the Royal Asiatic Society until convicted of embezzlement in 1832, and a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society in 1844.
