Autograph Letter Signed, to W.J.Loftie, asking him to meet J.B.Payne, editor of King of Arms (‘very dull reading’), which needed new blood, and pointing out an error in Loftie’s notice of Seven Ages of English Pauper; he sends him the latest Labour Agency Prospectus. 1 page 5 x 8 inches, oblong, some very light soiling, traces of mounting. 11 February 1874.
