Autograph Letter Signed, to Avalon Collard, explaining that engagements prevent him taking up the concert seats offered to him by his correspondent. 2 pp. 6 x 4½ inches, second leaf laid down on part album page, in good condition. Windsor Hotel, Glasgow, 10 February 1895. Sir George Henschel (1850-1934), singer, composer and conductor. In 1881 he was appointed conductor of the newly founded Symphony Orchestra at Boston.
