Newnham Terrace, Cambridge, 2 March 1868. Uncommon. Hugh Godfray (1821-1877), mathematician and astronomer. He will put the book to the test with his pupils. “This will be only those who have already read the subject at school, because my experience is that for a first reading the difficulties are much less when the properties of the various curves precede the general equation.”
