Autograph Letter Signed, to Mr. Dodd, Taylor, St James’s Street, confirming instructions for his “Wellington Pantaloons” and the Blue Coats. 1 page 9 x 7 inches, address panel, one clean tear at seal opening. Southborough Cottage, 9 July 1815. Sir George Boyle, 4th Earl of Glasgow (1766-1843). As for the Wellington Pantaloons, Dodd is instructed “to make them considerably higher than before, And smaller in the leg below the Calf, As I do not wear a wide Boot, & as often Gaiters..”
