George”, at the age of 20, to the Countess Gleichen (”My dear aunt Lola”), thanking her on behalf of “Papa for your letter & to say how glad he was that it had all been satisfactorily arranged”, just setting off to Windsor this evening and then to Holkham next week. 2 pp. 7 x 4 inches, with the original autograph envelope initialled ‘G’ lower left.
