Warrant, signed ‘George R’ at head, countersigned overleaf by Robert Peel, addressed to the Judges of Gaol Delivery for the Northern Circuit and the Governor of the House of Correction at Preston, for the Remission of Sentences imposed on Edmund Collings, Joseph Mayall and Daniel Marquis, for Manslaughter and Forgery. Manuscript Warrant 12 x 8 inches, Royal wafer seal affixed, 2 pages in good condition, horizontal folds, with the integral blank leaf (one section torn and slightly damaged where formerly mounted).
