Original Christmas Card, inscribed to Lady Bute, signed ‘Edward P’, incorporating a photo of the Prince. 6 x 4 inches, blue silk ribbon, the Prince’s crest embossed on the front of the card. With the original autograph envelope, initialled EP. 1922-1923. “To Lady Bute, Thank you so much for your card. Hope you are having good sport. From Edward P.” King Edward VIII (reigned from 20 January 1936,abdicated, taking the title Duke of Windsor) (1894-1972).
