Autograph Letter Signed, to Mrs. Palgrave, forwarding the address of Mrs. Lowry. 1 page 7 x 4½ inches, in good condition, with the integral address leaf. London, 13 November 1828. Uncommon. Sir Augustus Wall Callcott (1779 – 1844), English landscape painter. There are qualities in Callcott’s work which gained the admiration of J. M. W. Turner and Thomas Stothard in his day. He married Maria Graham, a writer on art and travel. They resided at the Gravel Pits, Kensington.
