Occasional light spotting only. The Temple, 18 October 1860. Charles William Shirley Brooks (1816-74), editor of Punch, poet, novelist and essayist, has added an extra verse to this album page: “These words were written by Shirley B./ Set to music by poor A.Lee./ Over the leaf there was spilt some tea,/ So the bard has re-copied them – as you see.”
