Autograph Letter Signed ‘J.Turner’, to the Rev Mr Sutcliff [John Sutcliff], Mrs. Harley’s, High Street, Shrewsbury, commenting on and criticising the preaching of Mr. Wise, who “preached at Mr. Doughty’s last night from Psa[lm] 69.32 latter part”, asking for Sutcliff’s discretion over this. 1½ pages, some damp stains and surface dust soiling only, address leaf (docketed by Sutcliff “Recd. Novr. 18.74”). 17 November 1774.
